If you haven’t seen season 8 so far, I may spoil it. Don’t wait for e4, just watch it.
Not gonna lie, I was quite excited for How I Met Your Mother to finish this year. I remember the days when they used to show it on Trouble at 5 on weekdays after a double bill of My wife and Kids, those were the days. In some ways it didn’t really matter who Ted married, because he was never the most exciting.
This was a great episode. Anything with a spontaneous song and dance is alright with me.
The best part of the show (and of twitter) is and always will be, Neil Patrick Harris. I’m not going to pretend that I’ve ever seen an episode of Doogie Howser, MD, but I’m sure it’s just as amazing as NPH. Anyone who dresses their children up in costumes just for fun, must be a cool person. I suppose another year of Barney can’t hurt.
And the fact that Rachel Bilson isn’t Ted’s future wife is also saddening, because they would have been great together. I guess we’ll see in a few months whether they’ll wait until the end of season 9 to show us wifey or if we’ll see her playing bass in Robin and Barney’s wedding. Which, by the way, has already made me skeptical about her. I feel like after all this time, whoever she is, she won’t be good enough for Ted.
